Tuition $$
For this blog I chose to write about an article titled "Clark State's Successful Tuition Challenge Program Continues" found in My Springfield Paper volume 15 issue 36. This article talks of a program implemented by Clark State to help keep tuition at an affordable rate. This program allows students with an average grade of C or higher that are enrolled in at least 12 credit hours to receive a 5% discount in tuition fees. Students enrolled in 15 or more credit hours with appropriate grades shall be granted a 10% tuition deduction. I enjoyed this article because it educated me to the fact that Clark State offers such a program. As a student, I am interested in any program that allows me to save. As a father of three, I am interested in how the extra money I save can better benefit my family. I also learned that this program has been approved for continuation. This article has educated me to many facts about a program offered to me, as a student of Clark State.

This article could be very useful to any student in Clark State. It makes me wonder if other colleges offer similar programs. I know many colleges offer scholarship programs to high achieving students, but the specifics can vary from college to college. This could help many students who are unable to afford college, but may be able to with the discount. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
